*Warning - We recommend you skin test a small area before using, keep product away from eyes, external use only. We recommend you avoid your face entirely with our scrubs. Avoid using sugar/salt scrubs on any areas of irritation, wounds, and rashes or if you have sensitive skin, eczema or any inflammatory skin condition. Over exfoliating can leave your skin dry, irritated and sensitive. Once a week should be suffice. The best place to use a scrub is in the shower. Gently massage the scrub in a circular motion onto your skin and rinse off thoroughly with warm water.
PROS SUGAR VS SALT SCRUB
Sugar Pros - less abrasive on skin. Cons - aside from manual exfoliation, offers no other benefits.
Salt Pros - Manually exfoliates with detoxing benefits too. Salt scrubs have an added bonus in the fact that salt helps to pull toxins away from the body and ease in anti-inflammation. Salt is also a natural preservative. Cons - can sting if used on cut skin, and may irritate skin.
Ultimately when it comes to choosing the best scrub for your skin, choose sugar if you want a gentle exfoliation or opt for salt if you want to detoxify your skin.
